1. Become talkative. One of the major problem of every boy in high school wanting to be popular. Listen to radio news, have interest in popular music and much of all, get much information about football. In this manner you will never come short of words.
2. Be very confident. Popularity counts only where self confidence is exhibited. Get over nervousness by trying things that could get you out of your comfort zone such as, singing, games, drama etc. The only way you can be popular by overcoming nervousness in school is by constant practice of what is unpopular, which mostly cause social anxiety among others.

6. Become a guru. Becoming a guru in high school is the easiest way to popularity without publicizing yourself. People like gurus, and are very interesting in whatever view of life they represent. So teachers will talk about you everywhere, students will appreciate your appearance and way of life, and the most interesting thing to become popular is how people will try to imitate and learn the way you study. After all this, the only way to become guru is by serious study, concentration in class and having an extra tutor at home in order to balance and digest everything.
7. Wear different uniform pattern. Clothing is also considered when you want to become popular in high school for boys. Although you wear uniform all the time especially for those doing day only, you can become popular by having a different pattern of trouser, shirt or even cap. For example, if the real high school uniform colour is light blue, get a dark blue yard and saw it. When you get approached by the school authority, tell them that it is a mistake and you will make another one. Simply spend atleast a term or two or even the whole year with that unform and see how you will become popular wherever you go.
8. Make an unusual hair style. This had worked for me so good that till date when my school authorities or students were talking about hair style for boys, they always remember me. My own hair style is the usual old school for boys, but I did in a way one can become outstanding just because of that. You could do the same by either cutting your hair in an unusual style, may be you could get ideas by watching music videos and shows or you can just imaging a hair style.
9. Set a campaign to be a class captain or prefect. This is a tricky way to become popular in high school for boys whenever you are tall. Most high school authorities prefer talk students to become a representative in every aspect of class or the entire school activities. Apart from built up factor, know that you can speak english in a way that you are just fascinating and can challenge some teachers. All this traits will contribute pointers to you and be choosen on every important issues within the school.
