How to Make Homemade Cornmeal Mush

Cornmeal is one of the easiest homemade recipes of the century. While cornmeal mush seem to be harder in some part of the world, we hereby break all steps needed to make it without much stress.

Note: Corn meal is called ekusu in Edo, Nigerian language.

Ingredients for Cornmeal Recipe:

7 fresh corn in cobs

15 bell pepper

Salt for taste

3 double Knorr cubes

For gnarshing:

Crayfish,

Egg

Meat

Fish etc.

Also,

1 large onion

1 cup of oil.

Recipe for Cornmeal Mush:

1. Remove all corn from the cobs, then rinse. Add the fresh bell pepper onion and blend.

Note: it should not be smooth.

2. After grinding/blending, add the oil, salt and melt your seasoning cubes with warm water and add, stir very well.

3. Wrap in leaves o in tins or cans and add your garnish ingredient, then put to boil for 40 minutes.

Wraping leaves should be done with carefullness. It's the most natural and gives you all the flavour you need to make yout cornmeal delicious.
