Mmh, I don't even know where to start. I live in a country where life is hard (I mean very hard) for the common man while the rich continue to become more richer. I live in a country where money can turn every heart upside down -- heartless, harmful and greedy. I live in a country where corruption is unofficially legal. Bribery is same as tax--another stream for extra income.
Fast money! Cheat money! College of Politics! Yes am exactly talking about politics and Nigerian politicians. It is a modern but new-fashioned way of making money overnight.
If you can deceive, then you're fit to do. If you can cause violence among the opposition region, you're fit to do. If you can invest in bribing both police and the National Electoral officials, then you're fit. If you can create fake opportunities and recognize loopholes for playing hide and seek with people's money right to swiss banks, then you're not only fit, you're eligible for having a long lasting effect. And at last, if you can shade blood heartlessly, I don't have to mention your stat.
In Nigeria politics is not about leadership or responsibility, but positioning yourself in the direction of the stream of sweatless riches.
The people are suffering yet they don't know how to enjoy the Government.
Only in Nigeria, a citizen begs the Government like a servant and a Lord. Only in Nigeria, a Governor can beat a citizen and succeed even more.
We are thought in school that government is by the people, with the people and for the people. In reality our country's government is yes, with the people, not sure if it is by the people but is definitely not for the people.
The policies only favours the strong. Almost everything is out of place and out of the direction of any serious development. Millions of people in my country are living hand to mouth. Who are you for a Government like Nigerian's to budget in your favour.
No job creation ideas, less money are been spent on Agriculture (which holds the key to the betterment and the real therapy for hunger, one of the reason for violence and corruption) and the worst of all, nobody can voice out to suggest or simply speak on behalf of the common man. Against the ruining budget.
We can't blame every leader but most of our leaders simply don't care about us and our progress but if they do, I'll be extremely certain with you that we are been lead by illiterate heads. No doubt!
We have elected leaders that lack prudent of leadership but have double wisdom of gathering and managing our money for themselves, families and relations.
Our education is getting poorer and poorer, more than our expectations. Education, that suppose to be improved more than anything else, after the fight against poverty. Am very skeptical with this type of government. From every corner!
Is this the game? I guess they simply don't want to educate people because once everyone understands his Right in the democratic world, no leader can play a Game. There would be no chance for the rabbit play.
Education is the key but they are hiding it away from us, and the most fascinating part of this scenario is they want peace to reign, they want us to love each other in the darkness of poverty.
My message is one, if you're truely a Leader that knows about his responsibilities, strive for the betterment of Education and the growth of Agriculture. This is the only way to satisfy the majority of Nigerians for today.
There's no magic or secret to becoming a great leader but just to understand the obvious at it's peak. Act!
Get rid of selfishness, embrace justice then Nigeria will stay in peace and harmony. The reason for all the violence is because we are suffering -- we are left to do everything by ourselves. So we have to take a direction for change. Nobody can help the country from outside. Leaders act positive. People, embrace fairness and watch your choices during election.
