Make the relaxation more lively and interesting. Playing your favourite song help to calm your brain and settle so blank that you can fall asleep more easily. While music can be our first option on how to fall asleep when you are not tired, if it becomes so often, the functionality will eventuall fade away. So lets get to the other alternatives to get ourselves sleeping whenever we want to.
2. Get Comfortable.
Create a comfortable environment that will favour your sleeping positively. Good aired room, better prepared bed and less noisy environment are the basic factors that can help you get a good and nice sleep when you're not tired. Try to get rid of anything that can obviously cause discomfort, distraction and irritation to your physical and mental stat whenever it comes to sleep.
3. Close Your Eyes, sleep would soon take over.
Although you're not tired, sometimes you feel a bit procrastinated and can't do anything to make yourself comfortable or even on the radio to entertain your mind while fishing some sleep. Just make sure that the environment you were is not noisy, close your eyes in a position of sleeping. You can even deeping your breathes like you're sleeping to make it more obvious for you that sleeping is more ideal.
4. Consider using your best relaxation technique.
This involves sleeping in many postures. Once you tried your best to fall asleep when you are not tired and fail, try to relax a bit. Some people prefer going to the living room to relax on the three sitter, some on the chair in the compound and some on the floor. Any type of relaxation that makes you relax can also make you fall asleep at any moment. Just relax and be willing to be taken over by sleep, when it comes and you become uncomfortable, it is a big chance to transfer yourself to bed or the nearest comfortable place to set your body for a real dream sleep.

Even though it's awkward to just say get tired, it can be the only solution to put in action other than taking sleeping pill, which is never recommended on this site due to its contribution to depression due time. This should work with anyone who thinks that relaxation is fine and knows where to relax to keep himself calm. Simply, get to somewhere unusual within your house or the entire apartment. Sit right there or even attempt to lie down staring at the buildings, furnitures and anything in sight. Doing this, you are telling your mind that you don't have anything serious and all you need is to relax here. So sleep can take over you anytime. In some cases, you start to feel sleepy and when you try to move to your bed the sleep would be nowhere to be found. So it is more wiser to start sleeping there regardless of the posture or comfort, and move on to the bed after a while.
7. Create Extra Boredom to fall asleep when you're not tired.
Reading uninteresting books can make you drift to sleep more faster. It is just like creating an extra boredom to your mind to make your body respond more eagerly to nothing less or more than sleep. In order to fall asleep when you are not tired, trying more uninteresting things apart from reading uninteresting books according to your person should make a great impact.
Milk was said to relax us more than any other foods, but mixing it with water can perform wonders on how to fall asleep when you are not tired. So pick up the most recreational technique to serve yourself to the most benefit.
