2. Stick to your tradition in music. Culture is very important in terms of music. Being an english singer doesn't mean that you have to learn a foreign genre in order to become famous. Your culture is you and anything other than your tradition might bring lower quality of your talent to the public. Lets talk for example, the African/American singer Akon Thiam has said on his interview that, he rose up listening to Reggae and all sorts of afro beats. This musician is lucky to find out his real talent according to his tradition, which brought him to become as famous as he is today.
The best song that first helped him become well known around the world was beaten from senegal tradition, which concluded him to collaborate with so many hiphop rappers. What we are saying here is the vitality of you sticking to your tradition (your tongue), sing in english but consider what would eventually bring the best out of you.

Personally, I choose gospel music due to the balance I perceive both emotionally, physically and spiritually.
