Caramel Popcorn Balls Recipe

Kidz, summer, fun. Caramel popcorn ball.

Recipe

5 tbsp oil

2.5 cups unpopped popcorn

1/4 cup butter

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 small condense milk

1/2 tsp vanilla flavour.

Extra butter

Method:

Using your pressure pot, put 1 tbsp of oil. Allow to get very hot.

Add a cup of popcorn, close the pot but don't lock it.

As the corn pops, shake the pressure pot often.

When popped, turn unto a tray lined with foil paper.

To make the caramel

In a pan, add butter, brown sugar and glucose syrup.

On a low heat allow to melt and bring to a boil.

When it starts to boil, add the condense milk .

Leave to boil till is has that ogbono consistency.

Pour over the popcorn and stir to coat well.

Form into ball by rubbing your hands with butter.
